Our Board Members

  • Sean Callanan - President

    Sean is an executive level consultant specialising in social policy and services organisational contexts. His in-depth experience in operational and executive level management has been honed from commercial, not for profit, and government workforce related contexts including State and Commonwealth Government departments, not for profit agencies, industry peak bodies and local councils. His recent career experience encompasses both executive and operational learnings including managing large-scale recruitment and workforce attraction and retention, international social worker sourcing programmes, remuneration policy and data projects, and instilling team priorities within corporate and public funded service environments.

  • Jodi Webb - Vice President


    Jodi is a photographer who learned about Thursday Girls after losing her mother to Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2021. She is passionate about raising awareness of the disease and the Thursday Girls services. Jodi has been involved in grass roots organisations previously and is looking forward to supporting the board in achieving the desired outcomes for the organisation.

  • Sharon Taylor - Secretary to the Board

    After working in the corporate side of the fashion industry for 10 years, Sharon started her own consultancy, sourcing and production company, Sourcing Studio, initially filling a gap in the market for an industry lacking specialists in knitwear, eventually expanding into sourcing and supply of all categories of clothing, supplying into many of Australia's biggest retail and wholesale brands for the past 30 years.

    Charity work and Board roles have been in the back of her mind for a while now so the combination of the two seems perfect.

  • Brian Sellick – Treasurer

    Brian Sellick from Inauro Wealth Management is the Treasurer for Thursday Girls and prepares annual statements in addition to providing valuable financial advice and guidance

  • Fiona Dinner – Voice of the Member

    Fiona, a Thursday Girl, represents the Thursday Girls Group - providing a critical channel for responding to the needs of our members, and sharing importnat news with the Thursday Girls. With her attention to detail, experience in management, organisational skills and overall passion for Thursday Girls, best interests of our members is her top priority.

  • Marg Haywood - Ex Officio Committee Member

    Sue and Marg are two of the Group Facilitators of Thursday Girls. Both are social workers with extensive experience with groups and with situations of loss and grief. In 2017, Sue and Marg, together with group members, established Thursday Girls as a nonprofit charity. Sue and Marg are both passionate about helping Thursday Girls achieve financial sustainability in the long term.

  • Prastish Bajwa - Assistant Treasurer

    Prastish joined Thursday Girls with a heartfelt desire to give back and be part of a community of women making a difference. She is inspired by the group’s ability to blend friendship, laughter, and connection with meaningful charitable work that touches lives. For Prastish, being part of Thursday Girls is not only about fundraising, but also about creating a circle of support and kindness that extends into the wider community. Alongside her work as a CPA, she values opportunities where her skills can contribute to something bigger than herself and is excited to walk this journey of giving, growth, and togetherness with such an inspiring group of women.
